Final Critical Reflection Paper: Instructions and Grading Rubric
Purpose of this Assignment:
This paper is designed to assist you in reflecting on your experiences during this
course. This paper is a written reflection on what you have learned in the course. This
assignment is your opportunity to agree or disagree with the material that has been
presented. You will support your opinions with evidence-based sources. The paper
should be about 2-3 resources/references. You should not feel restrained in reflecting
your political views (liberal or conservative or somewhere on the continuum) in this
paper. Still, you need to provide clear reasoning and evidence for your positions.
You are asked to write a total of 5-6 double-spaced pages (This does not
include the title page and reference page. An abstract is required but does not
count towards the page length requirement.).
You are asked to provide and utilize 2-3 resources/references in your paper
with in-text citations.
You are asked to reflect on which topic (or topics) in this course was most
challenging for you and why you believe this was your experience and how was
your experience related to your unique intersections, etc.?
You are asked to reflect on at least three additional areas of your choice.
These additional areas may include
What you particularly enjoyed learning about?
What was most surprising to you?
What particularly resonated with you?
What changes you intentionally made or noted in yourself or practices over
How this course impacted your personal and/or professional development?
How this course impacted your interest in becoming an “agent of change”?
Which topics were introduced that you would like to learn more about?
