Presentation Topic: Locate a news article on food and on a topic that interests you (this article should be one of your references). More specifically, the article should be related to fats (saturated or unsaturated), protein (or amino acids), vitamins, or minerals. In your presentation, answer the following questions:
What is the article’s topic? Why is it important to you?
Who is the article intended for?
What evidence (facts) does the author present to support the topic?
What conclusions does this article make?
Finally, offer your own opinion on the topic (in researching this topic, use the other resources you find as your other two references).
Instructions: This presentation will consist of 7 PowerPoint slides in combination with a recording of you speaking. The first slide will be the title slide and the last slide will show where you got your ideas from, your references. Overtop the PowerPoint presentation you will record your voice explaining the presentation’s content. Your grade will reflect the clarity and thought behind your presentation. Remember, your voice recording should expand on the information presented on your slides. This is your chance to give examples and otherwise explain your slides. You need to use a total of at least 3 references. Your presentation (including voice overlay) must be posted to Canvas. Review the grading rubric prior to preparing your presentation!
